Company followers (ScrapeLi)

Order the people who follow a LinkedIn company page as a table of leads, where the data comes from, and what you are responsible for when you use it.

Professional Network Company Followers (ScrapeLi) turns the followers of a LinkedIn company page, typically a competitor's, into a table of leads. OXYGEN places the order with ScrapeLi, a named data supplier listed on the subprocessors page. No LinkedIn account of yours is connected or used.

Check, then order

Checking a page quotes the order for free. Managed checks read the follower count; fee-positive own-key previews leave it unknown:

oxygen tables followers check --company https://www.linkedin.com/company/hubspot --records 1000 --json

Placing the managed order needs --approved, a credit ceiling at or above that quote, and one stable request ID. Retry the identical payload with that ID after an uncertain response; a new ID can buy the audience again:

oxygen tables followers order --company https://www.linkedin.com/company/hubspot --records 1000 \
  --approved --max-credits <quoted_credits> --request-id <uuid> --json

--package Basic (the default) gives each follower's profile, job title, location and current employer. --package Advanced costs ten times as much and also finds a work email with its verification status and the follower's region; on Basic, add a find-email column to the table instead.

In the web app, choose New table → LinkedIn → Professional Network Company Followers (ScrapeLi). Over MCP, call oxygen_tables_followers with action: "preview", then action: "create".

Managed orders are billed per follower, with a 100-follower minimum, so a page with fewer followers cannot be ordered. The table is created at once and stays empty until ScrapeLi delivers. ScrapeLi publishes no delivery time, so treat this as an order, not an instant export. OXYGEN lands the rows automatically when they arrive.

The quoted credits are held while the order is open. They are charged when the rows land and returned if ScrapeLi fails or cancels the order. Re-sending an order with the same request id returns that same order and table.

Orders on your own key

Add --credential-mode user_api_key to the check and order commands to use the ScrapeLi key saved in Connections. ScrapeLi bills your provider usage separately. The free preview quotes Oxygen's placement fee, per-check/page platform fee and nominal recovery schedule. When the platform fee is positive, it leaves the follower count unknown instead of making a paid lookup. Choose a TOTAL --max-credits ceiling for placement plus later recovery. A placement-only ceiling cannot recover rows; budget exhaustion lands no partial rows. Paid pages can be refetched under the same ceiling. Key rotation stops recovery pinned to the original credential, and interrupted setup can remain unavailable.

Inspect a fee-budgeted own-key order without a provider call:

oxygen tables followers status --request-id <original_uuid> --json

Add --table-id <saved_table_id> to verify its Table binding. MCP uses oxygen_tables_followers with action: "status", the original request_id and optional table_id. Allocated attempts, recorded fees and unconfirmed calls are separate; recorded fees settle through normal billing. A saved Table, run or fee budget does not prove provider acceptance or delivery. Keep the identical payload and original ID for retries.

Where the data comes from

LinkedIn shows a company page's follower list only to that page's own admins. ScrapeLi therefore collects this data itself rather than reading a public page, and it may use signed-in sessions of its own to do so. Coverage and freshness depend on ScrapeLi. oxygen tools get scrapeli.linkedin_company_followers --json states this in its data_sourcing field.

Your own page's followers do not need an order: a connected LinkedIn account that administers the page reads them for no credits through linkedin.users_followers.

Your responsibilities

You decide which audiences to order and what you do with them. For the personal data in an order:

  • You are the controller. OXYGEN and ScrapeLi process the data on your instruction.
  • You need a lawful basis for collecting and using it, such as legitimate interest, assessed for your purpose.
  • Tell the people concerned. When you obtain personal data from a source other than the person, GDPR Article 14 requires you to inform them, normally within one month and at the latest at your first contact.
  • Honour objections. Stop processing and remove a person who objects, and add them to your suppression list so a later order or import does not bring them back.

See Outbound compliance and the Data Processing Addendum for the full terms.
