ChatGPT
Connect your OXYGEN workspace to ChatGPT for company research, tables, and knowledge.
The OXYGEN ChatGPT plugin is being prepared for review. Until it is published, you can test the connection in ChatGPT developer mode if your account supports it. You need an existing OXYGEN account and access to the workspace you want to use.
Connect OXYGEN
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps, enable developer mode in Advanced settings, and create an app using this MCP server URL:
https://oxygen-agent.com/mcp?toolset=chatgpt-v1Choose OAuth and sign in to OXYGEN when prompted. Keep the toolset=chatgpt-v1
query parameter: it selects the reviewed ChatGPT tools. Add OXYGEN to a conversation
and start with “Which OXYGEN workspace am I using?” If you belong to more than one
workspace, choose the one you intend to use before working with its data.
For a dev workspace, use https://dev.oxygen-agent.com/mcp?toolset=chatgpt-v1
and a dev OXYGEN account. Dev and production accounts and data are separate.
What you can do
Ask ChatGPT to preview an existing table, plan a company search and estimate its cost, read workspace knowledge, or create a small table from data you provide. For example:
- “Show the first three rows of my companies table. Do not change anything.”
- “Plan a search for US software companies with 20–200 employees. Estimate costs without running it.”
- “Find our ideal customer profile in OXYGEN knowledge and summarize its source.”
Table previews and sourcing-run summaries can appear as inline cards when the host supports them. Other results appear as text. A preview does not save leads or complete a paid sourcing run.
The reviewed connection lists each supported operation separately. Native company
previews continue with oxygen_companies_native_search_run, hiring previews with
oxygen_companies_hiring_search_run, and local-business previews with
oxygen_companies_maps_search_run. Pass the preview filters as source_filters
and start with mode: "dry_run". Native people searches use
oxygen_people_native_search_run; contacts at companies in an existing Table use
oxygen_people_company_contacts_run with that Table's company LinkedIn URL column
and typed people filters.
Public LinkedIn posts use oxygen_signals_search_run. Recurring posts use the
separate oxygen_signals_linkedin_posts_feed_create operation. Its every
cadence uses UTC, and max_credits_per_cycle limits Oxygen credits for each refresh.
A feed dry run quotes only the initial search; it creates no feed and does not
validate live provider access or cadence. Live creation requires approval for the
Table, recurring cadence and per-cycle ceiling, even when the search is free.
oxygen_columns_run runs AI columns. Formula recalculation uses
oxygen_columns_formula_run; research, enrichment, CRM binding and lookup columns
have their corresponding named operations. A free formula run still changes cells.
Saved catalog-tool, custom HTTP and workspace Function columns run through the
OXYGEN app or CLI. They cannot run through this reviewed connection. Its tool list
is an allowlist: capability dispatch and broader toolset packs cannot extend it.
Approvals and credits
Workspace writes follow your requested scope. Before paid sourcing, lookups, or column
runs, approve the operation and a maximum number of credits. A zero ceiling permits
only free operations. Existing workspace permissions, balance, and execution limits
still apply. While ChatGPT is subscribed to OXYGEN events in a workspace, its paid calls
there also count against its daily credit ceiling (by default 10% of the plan's monthly
credits in any 24 hours); a call that would pass it is refused before anything runs.
Change the ceiling in OXYGEN on the Connected apps page, /settings/connected-apps. The plugin cannot buy credits, change subscriptions, send outreach,
or run arbitrary tools or workflows.
Privacy
OXYGEN sends the requested workspace data and tool results to the connected ChatGPT conversation. Share only the data you intend ChatGPT to process. Retrieved content cannot authorize a write or paid run. You can disconnect OXYGEN from ChatGPT's app settings. See the connector privacy policy and terms of service.
If ChatGPT subscribes to OXYGEN events, for example to act when a reply is classified
or a run settles, OXYGEN also sends event notices to OpenAI: one signed notice per
matching event, to the callback address ChatGPT registered for that subscription. A
notice carries ids, statuses, counts, timestamps and a link to OXYGEN. It never carries
message text, names, email addresses or other content; ChatGPT reads details back through
its OXYGEN tools under your own access. A subscription lasts at most 24 hours unless
ChatGPT renews it, and ends when you leave the workspace. See each subscription and every
delivery, and revoke them, on the Connected apps page or with
oxygen connectors events get ChatGPT.
Support
Email [email protected] with the operation,
workspace name, and any returned run ID. Do not send passwords, API keys, or private
table contents. If sign-in fails, confirm you used the correct production or dev URL
and kept the toolset=chatgpt-v1 parameter.
